The Healthcare Academy UK aims to provide you with high standards of technical / clinical training and support from our Educational facility in Hatfield or at the point of application.

Our rationale is to enable our customers to get the best out of the GE Healthcare product range, thus improving patient care through best practice and a thorough understanding of product application.

Our team is committed to providing excellent educational support for multi-disciplinary health care professionals, at all levels. The clinical faculty members are NHS trained professionals with over 100 years combined experience. The Biomedical training team are all experienced bioengineers, with a vast array of technical product knowledge. The biomedical team offers both training courses and customer support.

Our clinical and technical education specialists hold a Certificate of Education/Bachelor of Education degree or are working towards achieving these qualifications - ensuring we provide our customers with the best possible service and support.

You will leave The Healthcare Academy UK better prepared to carry out your professional duties in what we fully recognise is an increasingly challenging health care environment. But our support to you doesn't end when you finish the course. Our Technical and Clinical Customer Support team is at your service by telephone, fax or e-mail to answer any queries you may have or address any problems that need to be resolved.

Competency assessment documentation

We can help you to address CNST requirements by providing competency assessment documentation. These documents can be supplied for each individual piece of equipment and tailored to suit your departments needs.

Academy Link Trainer

This level of support provides key staff with the skills, knowledge and understanding to facilitate training throughout their individual departments, with the added benefit of continual support from the Healthcare Academy. This tailored training and education package is further supported by the Healthcare Academy, with access to 24 hour support, familiarisation tools and competency assessment documentation. Having completed a Front Line Plus study day, the Healthcare Academy UK Link Trainer will have the support of the Healthcare Academy with all certification and validation provided by the Healthcare Academy, creating a partnership for the continuing educational needs of your department. We aim to ensure each department with our equipment has at least 2 Link Trainers.
